Gaborone– Hotel 430 launched operations last recently, representing a significant milestone in Botswana’s hospitality industry and economic diversification efforts. The opening ceremony brought together government representatives, business leaders, and tourism stakeholders.

Kegone Sebina, Managing Director, outlined the hotel’s vision to combine international standards with authentic local character. “This project demonstrates what Batswana can achieve through belief, collaboration and commitment to excellence,” he stated. The development has created over 200 permanent jobs while supporting local suppliers across the value chain.

Tiroeaone Ntsima, Minister of Trade and Entrepreneurship, emphasized the project’s alignment with national economic goals. “This investment showcases how citizen entrepreneurship, supported by government policies, can diversify our economy beyond mineral dependence,” he noted. The hotel strengthens Gaborone’s capacity to host business tourism and high-value events.

The property features 100 rooms including premium suites, a rooftop bar with city views, a restaurant blending local and international cuisine, wellness facilities, and modern conference spaces. Designed for both business and leisure travelers, it aims to elevate Botswana’s hospitality standards while creating employment opportunities.
